Where can I buy Pocket Ads?

How do I submit an ad to Pocket Ads?

How do I find out when to submit my ad?

The deadline for ads is 10am Monday week of publication, and the publication is available fortnightly on a Thursday. Most editions contain a calendar with deadline and publication dates for theentire year. Current editions will have the dealine for the next edition on the cover. 

Why was my ad changed?

To keep ads consistent throughout the booklet some formatting of your ad will be undertaken, for example phone numbers being at the end of the ad etc. Also, your ad will be abbreviated where necessary as Pocket Ads is a classifieds publication - we are attempting to give buyers the best value for money by putting in the most ads possible in the smallest space available.

Why was my category changed?

While you may request to place your ad in a particular category, if that category is actually intended for a different type of ad then Pocket Ads staff cannot place it there. For example, if you want to sell a home this ad would go into Real Estate where other houses and land and being sold, not under Accommodation, which is intended for rental accommodation only.

Why is the phone line just an answering machine?

To ensure that Pocket Ads is produced as efficiently as possible, we installed an answering service on the Pocket Ads phone line. A handy tip is to write your ad/s before calling and then simply read them out as you wish them to appear in Pocket Ads, and don’t forget the contact number! Then a Pocket Ads staff member will type up your ad directly from your message and, if there is a problem, contact you on the phone number provided.

Why wasn't my ad published?

Ad deadlines are the appropriate  Monday at 10am. If you have missed the deadline for an upcoming issue, then your ad will not appear until the following issue. This rule is the same for everyone to ensure that Pocket Ads is fair for all advertisers.
